Incomedia WebSite X5 2020.2 Pro brings new functionality – structured data. At the moment, the program supports the following types of structured data:
- Article.
- Breadcrumb.
- Carousels.
- Local Business.
- Logo.
- Product.
- Sitelinks search box.
- Speakable.
- Video.
In short, structured data helps to create advanced snippets, advanced snippets help to stand out in search results, and this helps get more visitors or makes it more likely that the user will receive information on his request from your site.
WebSite X5 adds a special code based on the information on the site. There are no special settings for structured data, except for data about the local company. They are located in Settings – Advanced – Website Optimization, SEO – Structured Data (Figure below).
Other changes:
- The Statistics, SEO and Code section was divided into Statistics and Code and Website Optimization, SEO (in Settings - Advanced). Only for the Pro version (Figure below).
- The Control Panel section was merged with the Wesite X5 Manager section into one section – Control Panel and Wesite X5 Manager (in Settings - Advanced). Only for the Pro version (Figure below).
