JLex Comment features
The component is compatible with Joomla versions 3-6 and can be used with virtually various third-party extensions. The extension is built with a focus on scalability, supporting large volumes of comments.
Main features.
- Access control system (ACL). It allows detailed control over which actions are available to different user groups, including adding, editing, deleting, and moderating comments.
- User roles. It supports creating specialized roles such as administrator, moderator, and premium user, which makes it possible to implement different interaction scenarios.
- Moderation and management. Centralized management of comments, reactions, and reports, with the ability to quickly edit or delete entries (picture below).
- Import and migration. Data transfer support: from CSV files, from other comment systems (CComment, JComment, K2, Komento, VirtueMart).
- RichText editor (picture below). Basic text formatting by users in comments: bold, italic, underline, link insertion, quotes, and code.
- Real-time preview. The user sees how the comment will look while typing.
- Reactions system. Expands the standard «like/dislike» model with various emotional reactions (as images).
- Subscriptions and notifications. Users can subscribe to discussions, receive email or RSS notifications, and get alerts for mentions.
