JLex Review is a paid Joomla component designed for managing reviews and ratings. It supports multi-criteria evaluation, moderation, and spam protection including blacklists and CAPTCHA. The extension integrates seamlessly with VirtueMart, JoomShopping, HikaShop, EasySocial, K2, and other popular Joomla solutions. You can customize review forms with additional fields, import data via CSV, and migrate from components such as Komento, JComment, and CComment. It also includes support for Google Structured Data and social login through Facebook and Google. The component is fully compatible with Joomla versions 6, 5, 4, and 3.

JLex Review features
The component provides flexible configuration, content moderation, spam protection, integration with other extensions, structured data optimization for search engines, and supports multilingualism (see image below).
Key Features List:
- Multi-criteria evaluation. Each review forms an overall rating based on multiple factors (criteria) set by the administrator for a specific object (article, product, etc.). Criteria are displayed separately with visual indicators. Optionally, no criteria need to be added.
- Flexible review forms. Customizable input fields (Text, TextBox, Checkbox, Select).
- Multimedia attachments. Adding images and other files to reviews. Images are automatically collected into a gallery on the object’s page (see image below).
- Google Maps (API) integration to link reviews to specific locations; display on a map with markers.
- Filtering and search. Advanced search by keywords, ratings, dates, and custom filters for review segmentation.
- Three ready-made templates (mobile-responsive), customization via override files.
- Data import/export. Uploading reviews from CSV, migration from other systems (Komento, JComment, HikaShop, VirtueMart).
- Content embedding. Modules for inserting ratings, review lists, or forms into any site pages.
- Automatic email alerts for new replies, complaints, or moderation actions.
- User ratings. Accumulating points for activity, displayed in the user profile.
Moderation system blocks review publication until manual administrator approval. Options include limiting reviews per user and other protection settings (see image below). «Quality» review badges are available for priority display.
Protection implemented via:
- Spam complaint system (user voting).
- Blacklist by IP addresses or accounts.
- Compatibility with CAPTCHA plugins (reCAPTCHA, hCaptcha).
Supports standard Joomla login plus OAuth2 for Facebook, X (Twitter), Google, and VK. User profiles include review history, ratings, and avatars. Sync possible with extensions like JomSocial and Community Builder.
