Contact page recommendations

Here are some recommendations for a good contact page.

  1. Clear and concise information. Make sure to include all the necessary information for people to contact you, such as your email address, phone number, and physical address. Keep the information clear and easy to read.
  2. Contact form. Consider adding a contact form to your contact page to make it easy for people to get in touch with you. A contact form also allows you to gather more specific information about the person contacting you, such as their name, email address, and reason for contacting you.
  3. Social media links. If you have social media accounts, include links to them on your contact page. This makes it easy for people to follow you on social media and stay up-to-date with your latest news and updates.
  4. Map and directions. If you have a physical location, consider including a map and directions to your office or store on your contact page.
  5. Hours of operation. If applicable, include your hours of operation so people know when they can contact you or visit your location.
  6. FAQ section. Consider adding a frequently asked questions section to your contact page to address common inquiries and help people find the information they need.
  7. Call-to-action. Include a clear call-to-action on your contact page, such as «Contact Us Today» or «Get in Touch», to encourage people to reach out to you.

In the next article «Joomla manual for beginners (part 6). How to develop a website from scratch» we'll create a blog with comments, sharing buttons and YouTube videos.
